School Matters
SCHOOL Matters, produced by the Department of Education and Training, provides a comprehensive news and information service for people employed in the public school education system. It covers the full spectrum of education issues: Best practice teaching techniques, professional development, and student, teacher and school achievements. Three editions are produced each term, which are delivered to each employee's place of work - be it Esperance or Christmas Island. School Matters also provides free classifieds advertisements for staff where they can advertise everything from professional development workshops to upcoming events.
Noticeboard
NOTICEBOARD offers a free service to all Department of Education and
Training employees and schools to publicise events, mobility transfers,
retirements, reunions, items for sale, wanted goods and so forth. However,
we do not accept adverts for the sale of cars, homes or homes for rent.
Advertisements should be kept brief and may be edited to fit available space
and house style. Only employees of the Department can enter classifieds into
the Noticeboard. An employee ID number is required. School Matters does not
accept responsibility for the accuracy of information or claims made in any
advertisements.
You can add a new notice to the Noticeboard here.
PD Diary
The PD Diary is a free service for individuals, organisations and businesses
offering professional development to the K-12 education community. Courses and
training are published in date order and may be edited to fit available space
and house style.
You can add a new course here.
