Year group planning - primary
EAL/D groups containing students tagged as an EAL/D stage in SIS can be automatically created each semester. EAL/D specialist groups and the associated teachers can then be populated into reporting group maintenance from year group planning.
Navigate to Assessment and Reporting Management > School Preferences > Year Group Planning tab
Select the year group(s) that EAL/D will be reported in using the year group dropdown menu.
 
Tick the EAL/D outcomes on the left to add them to the selected learning areas list.
Select the learning area heading and then click the Edit Specialist Group Icon.
 
Type the name of the Specialist Group eg EAL/D. Note: do not refer to the year group when naming the specialist area as this will be automatically added.
Select Form from Student Assignment Method.
Specify which EAL/D stage students you wish to Add students with a SIS EALD Stage of
Use the Add Teachers function to search for and assign the specialist EAL/D teacher(s).
Click OK
Click Save
To push the changes made into reporting group maintenance and report data entry for teachers:
Click Select Reporting Groups to be Updated
 
 
Groups will now show for data entry with the EAL/D students added based on SIS.
