Entry using the observation guides to determine students’ progress map level

To use the EALD observation guides when making outcome decisions:

•	Right click on the student outcome cell

 

 

The observation guide for the student will open for the outcome selected

•	Select the observation cell level description that best describes the student for each of the observation areas

•	Select the overall level judgement based on the observation guide indicators in the top row

 

Use the right-hand sliders to change the size of the cells or text

•	Click on OK

•	The outcome results will be displayed in the data entry window

•	Repeat for each outcome.
