VET The VET menu item manages qualification, skill sets, and competency records associated with students. The data integrates with other Reporting to Parents functions so that the total WACE program for the student can be monitored. The same VET data is replicated across four tabs so that it can be managed from a student, qualification, competency, or RTO perspective. VET data can be managed from within the VET area or can integrate into Reporting Group Maintenance and take advantage of automated group management functions with the SIS Timetable. SIS Timetabled subjects that are identified with a VET subject type are recognised by Reporting Group Maintenance and associated with a VET Qualification. These groups of students can then be added in the VET window to help with the management of students in VET Qualifications. Reporting Groups that are reflected in the VET window are known as VET Groups, Qualification Groups or just Groups. By associating VET Groups with Reporting Groups, other Reporting to Parents functions such as Assessment Outlines and Report Data Entry become available for these groups. Changes made to VET data will be reflected in the SCSA Reporting and WACE Tracker windows.
