Group Definitions
This section provides definitions for student groups and tracking cohort found on SAIS option screens.
Student Groups (Groups Tab)
The group of students within the selected timetabling period. Typically used in secondary e.g. 2007 Year 9 or 2006 Upper School.
The group of students contained within the selected timetabling teaching set (class). This enables you to view previous performance of your current class. e.g. E409_1 or 09wood.
A group of students formed to enabling reporting of specific outcomes or marks. You are only able to view this data once the reporting template and results have been entered. e.g. Room 3 Year 2 or 2BENG_2.
The group of students in that current year. This enables you to view previous performance of your current cohort. Typically used in 1-10 e.g. 2006 results (year 3) for the current 2008 (Year 5).
