Report Formats

The Report Formats drop-down list enables you to choose an output format type for your report. The following table provides details about the available format options.

i	Not all format options are available for all report types. Depending on the report type that you have selected, you may only be able to select some of the following format options.

 

Format Name	Description
HTML Format (JASPER)	A richly formatted HTML (Hypertext Markup Language - web page) rendering of the report data. This type of report has been specifically designed to deliver the report information in the optimal layout. Viewed in a web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer).
PDF Format (JASPER)	A richly formatted Adobe PDF (Portable Document Format) rendering of the report data. This type of report has been specifically designed to deliver the report information in the optimal layout. Viewed using Adobe's PDF Reader or browser plugin.
