Setting preferences
After the SEN Frameworks template has been activated several parameters can be set. From Main Menu select Assessment and Reporting Management >School Preferences > Options.
A new section will be visible.

Include all Students when Auto-Populating Reporting Groups - a tick here means that any student can be auto-populated in the reporting maintenance section rather than just those that have been tagged in SIS as education support program.

Annotation Limit - this can be set as 200 or 400 characters and controls the length of annotations added to photos in the data entry screen.

Learning Area, Outcome and Objective Comment Limit - later in the process we can determine what tier we wish to add comments too; here we can choose to set them as 600, 1200 or 1800 character limits.

Allow teachers to edit the school objective bank - This option allows teacher to edit the school objective bank. If not selected teachers may still use and edit their personal objective banks.

Automatically roll Semester 1 plans to Semester 2 - This option allows plans to automatically roll across.

Automatically roll plans to the following period - This option allows plans to automatically roll across from one year to the next.

Automatically roll plans from other schools - This option allows plans to automatically roll across from one the previous School to the current School.

Group types to roll the SEN plans into - This option allows plans to roll into Form, Timetable or Individual groups.

Open student plan as expanded -This option means the complete list of outcomes and objectives will show by default rather than using the to expand.

Include the curriculum content descriptor code in student reports - When selected, the content descriptor code will appear in the student report

Teachers can add students to SEN planning from K-10 data entry -Teachers will be able to add students to SEN planning from K-10 data entry.

Allow Personal and Social Capability to be selected when adding students to SEN groups from K-10 data entry window – The personal and social capability learning area will be available for selection along with the learning areas associated with the reporting group.

Add a full stop following content items on printed plans and reports - Schools have the option to print the content items with a full stop in the plans and reports. The default is no full stop.
