Roles are used within SAIS to determine the access levels and permissions that the user has when working with the system. When a new user is created they are assigned one or more roles.
This role grants the user the same privileges as the School Enquiry role, plus the ability to upload MAZE data for their assigned school. In many cases, your role will determine what options you see, and what actions you can perform, within SAIS. For example, a user that has been assigned the School Enquiry role will not be able to access some of the menu options that are available to a user that has been assigned the Administrator role.
