NAPLAN Highest Band The NAPLAN Highest Band is the Band that corresponds to the highest NAPLAN score for the student in the Year 9 NAPLAN Reading, Writing or Numeracy assessment. • The NAPLAN Highest Band will be calculated for Year 11 and 12 2024, Year 12 2025. • A NAPLAN score for all tests is not required. • A row in the student view will appear for each NAPLAN Band. The options are: NAPLAN Weighted Score Band Description Band 10 The NAPLAN band for the highest score is 10 Band 9 The NAPLAN band for the highest score is 9 High Band 8 The NAPLAN band for the highest score is 8 and the student has pre-qualified for OLNA in numeracy and at least one of reading and writing. Band 8 The NAPLAN band for the highest score is 8 and the student has not pre-qualified for OLNA in numeracy and at least one of reading and writing. Band 7 The NAPLAN band for the highest score is 7 Band 6 The NAPLAN band for the highest score is 6 Band 5- The NAPLAN band for the highest score is 5 or less No Band The student does not have at least one NAPLAN result
